Sturdy and a good size for the foot of our kind size bed. I ordered “white” and was expecting a fabric/linen type finish, but it was very softish, wooly ? Like you’d use for stuffed animals. I’m not unhappy about it because it is soft, but I’d say it’s ideal for a kid’s room.

This is perfect for what I needed - a small padded bench at the foot of our bed, good height for sitting and putting on shoes (our bed is very high, and doesn't work for this), perfect for small dog to get up on the bed from, and the fabric seems tough and nicely neutral. The only thing I really didn't like was the very shiny, very cheap looking upholstery tacks that they used, and there were no other options available for this color. It's not hard to rectify - pried each one out (80 or so?) and replaced with smaller, dark bronze tacks - a tedious little job that took me about an hour and the tacks were cheap, so I'm good. Those big shiny silver ones might work in a very modern room with nickel/stainlesss accents, but I think this was a styling misstep for the needs of most buyers. Otherwise, it's really great for what we needed.

I have had my storage bench for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it!! I have it placed at the end of my full sized bed and it looks very chic.

PROS:
⚫The color is the perfect shade of gray (not too dark or too light).
⚫It was extremely easy to screw the legs on and the holes matched up perfectly
⚫All of the brads were intact
⚫There's a really good amount of storage space on the inside
⚫It's comfortable to sit on and doesn't strain under my weight (188 lbs)
⚫The price point is good

CONS:
⚫When you sit on it or sit something on top, some of the buttons tend to move around. They're not securely sewn in.

But, aside from this one CON, I highly recommend this storage bench if you're considering it. I think you'll like it.
