I am on only child and I bought this necklace for my mother as a symbol of our small family and our unity. She loved it and hasn’t taken off the pendant ever since. The actual necklace is really thin I bought my mom a silver necklace separately. The pendant itself is perfect my mom sometimes forgets to take it off when she showers and it has not rusted or anything. Love the quality. Bought this back in May of last year and it still looks new.
